Welcome to Fohr Ground: a podcast about personalities in the influencer space hosted by Fohr’s Marketing Director, Tim Jeffreys.
Missy Lynn is a Louisiana raised, Dallas based influencer. Her start in this industry is unlike other influencers we’ve profiled on the show. After graduating high school, she joined the military on two tours. Her first brought her to Iraq where she learned news from home that changed her life.
In her journey to get through difficult times, she turned to YouTube. On top of watching videos of other women doing makeup, she also posted her own. It became her outlet for expressing herself without having to use words. Eventually, it developed into her passion and full-time career.
In this episode, Missy opens up about the difficult experiences that have transformed her life and point of view. From losing three family members to taking care of her teenaged niece and nephew, she’s learned to juggle a lot. Her ability to handle what life throws at her is one of the many reasons she’s come out on top.
For influencers balancing their digital and real lives, Missy shares why it’s okay to take a step back to put yourself first.
